Privacy Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Acveti (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, work email, company, and any details you share through our contact form or by email.
  • Candidate information: if you apply to join our network, the CV, portfolio, and application details you submit.
  • Usage data: basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and general location.
  • Approximate location: when you submit a form we record the country, region and city your connection appears to come from. We do not store your IP address itself: it is converted to an irreversible code that we use only to detect automated abuse of our forms and repeat enquiries.
  • Device information: the type of device, browser and operating system used to submit a form.
  • Site usage: how many pages you viewed, how long you spent on the site, how long you spent filling in a form before submitting it, and whether you have visited before. This is stored in your own browser and is only sent to us if you submit a form. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
  • Spam prevention: our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. As part of this check, your IP address is sent to Cloudflare, though we do not store it ourselves.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and match you with engineers or engagements.
  • To assess and manage applications to our network.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interests in operating our business, the performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations.

For the approximate location, device information and spam-prevention checks described above, our lawful basis is legitimate interest: preventing abuse of our forms and responding properly to genuine enquiries.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting, email, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which we use to check that form submissions come from a person rather than a script), with clients or candidates as needed to facilitate a match, and where required by law.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Enquiry records, including submissions our systems automatically flag as likely spam, are kept for as long as they remain relevant to responding to enquiries and to preventing abuse of our forms. We review these records periodically and remove them when they are no longer needed for those purposes, rather than on a fixed schedule.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls and encryption in transit, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

International transfers

We operate across the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and India. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function and, where applicable, privacy-respecting analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
