Salary is the part everyone quotes. Recruitment, statutory on-costs, overheads, equipment, the vacancy before they start and the ramp before they are productive are the rest of it. This works out the whole figure from published national data, then shows what the same capability costs delivered by Acveti.
Fill in one configuration. Both figures below use the exact same inputs, so the comparison is honest.
Working out the real cost
Visible because you are signed in. A prospect never sees this panel or anything in it.
A whole number, in the same currency as the figure above. Still checked against the floor: an override below it is refused, not merely flagged, and the prospect sees no price either way.
No figure on this page is invented. Every one traces to a published statistical source or to a stated assumption you can read and disagree with.
Taken from the national statistics office of each market: the ONS in the UK, the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the US, Eurostat across Europe, Job Bank in Canada and the ABS in Australia. Each role maps to that country's own official occupation code.
Statutory on-costs on top of salary: social security, pension, mandatory insurance and levies, taken from each country's own legislation and applied at the correct thresholds and ceilings. Where a cost is mandatory but has no published rate, we say so rather than treating it as zero.
A published agency fee schedule, or the cost of running your own recruiting function if you choose that instead.
HR and management time as a share of payroll, plus equipment and desk space where the engagement model needs them.
The output you lose while the role is open, and while a new joiner comes up to speed. Reported separately and never added to the money figure, because they are not the same kind of cost.
The expected cost of replacing someone during the engagement, which grows the longer the engagement runs.
Every source is a national statistics office, a central bank or a government publication. We do not republish figures from salary aggregator sites.
